There’s no getting around it: The Apple iPad has been the best-selling tablet of all time.
The device is now the second most popular consumer electronic device in the world, after the iPhone.
And now, thanks to Apple, it’s also one of the most popular home entertainment devices.
The iPhone was once the king of the world’s most popular mobile device, but Apple has recently taken the crown back from Google, which was once Google’s top competitor in the smartphone market.
But Apple is now on top again, as the iPad is still the best selling tablet in the US, and the second best-seller worldwide, behind the iPhone, according to the NPD Group.
Apple is also on the back foot, having seen its smartphone sales slump in the last year, according a new report from IDC.
The company reported in its March 31 earnings that smartphone sales are down 16.3 percent from a year ago.
The NPD group’s report said the iPad’s strong sales numbers are not a reflection of any weakening of Apple’s smartphone business, but are instead the result of a gradual increase in tablet sales that have been slowing.
The report also noted that Apple’s tablet sales are still growing, but the company has recently slowed down the pace of growth in recent quarters, as well.
Apple sold 3.5 million iPads in the first half of 2017, a growth rate of 25 percent from the same period a year earlier.
This is the highest growth rate since the iPhone was introduced in 2009.
In addition to iPad sales, Apple sold 2.6 million iPhones and 976,000 iPads.
Apple has also continued to grow its smartphone business.
The firm reported in the second quarter that its smartphone shipments grew 14 percent from last year to 3.9 million units.
This was an increase of 6.1 percent from Q2 2016.
However, Apple’s market share in smartphones has dropped to 9.7 percent, the lowest of the top five smartphone makers.
Samsung, which has been Apple’s top rival for years, has jumped into third place.
And while the iPad still commands a majority of the market, Samsung is now making gains against Apple.
Apple’s iPhone sales have been growing steadily for years.
According to NPD, the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus have accounted for roughly 90 percent of the smartphone sales in the U.S. so far this year.
In the first six months of this year, Apple surpassed Samsung as the second-largest smartphone maker in the United States, behind only Samsung.
In addition to the iPad, Apple has also had success with its new iPad Pro, which it launched earlier this year and was praised for offering a sleek design and more powerful processors.
It is available in several colors and is priced at $1,399.
The iPad Pro is also the only tablet that can be used with an Apple Watch, which is a feature that has been widely criticized.
But Apple’s iPad has suffered from its slow growth, which resulted in a drop in revenue in the fourth quarter of 2017.
It had been projected to take in about $1.7 billion in revenue for the quarter.
It still earned a loss of $3.4 billion, but was up 3 percent over a year-earlier period.
The decline in sales in 2017 has left Apple in a tough spot, said Andrew Zagaris, an analyst at IHS.
“The iPad is the most profitable product category, so it’s not surprising that it has continued to lose money.
But it’s important to note that even as sales have continued to decline, Apple continues to be able to grow revenue, and to do so with the best margins in the industry,” he said.
Apple lost $8.3 billion in the third quarter of this season.
The most recent quarter’s losses are expected to be even higher.
In total, Apple lost $32.4 million in the quarter, according the report.
